Recoating Swimming pools, Jacuzzis and Hot tubs

Coating constantly wet areas with warm water and chemicals has always been difficult but Durepox offers a solution.  The unique combination of Epoxy and Polyurethane applied correctly will resist water ingress even in these harsh environments.  Also popular, as we can colour match reasonably closely to most surrounding paints.

There are many paints out there that can be used in this environment but most often their ability to withstand this harsh environment means a compromise on finish.  The unique combination of Durepox Primer and High performance clear solves the issues and leaves an A-class finish.

Film thickness is one of the key issues here.  Much like underwater protection we need a good amount of dry film thickness left on the job to give a barrier to the water and chemicals used in this environment.

In this instance, we use the Primer to build thickness and colour and the High Performance Clear to provide further protection from water ingress, chemical attack, UV and finally an excellent finish.
